Firepower indeed! Yes!?

just wanna say-that ...
just wanna say-that is? the perfect rhythm section! what a groove

@boibad12 the ...
@boibad12 the double trio was very demanding to listen to-although i loved thrak and vroom at the time, id say it was ultimately a doomed experiment, but kudos to? them for trying

@crazysailorman ...
@crazysailorman First off, Robert uses a non-standard tuning for his guitar. He uses what he calls a New Standard Tuning which is (CGDAEG). The flurries he performs look like hammer ons with a switch? to another string for a lower note. Yes, it looks and sounds fantastic, but i reckon it is within reach of a moderate player with a bit of hammer on practice! This is in no way to diminish the skill of Robert. He's exceptional.

Saw Robert Fripp ...
Saw Robert Fripp with Peter Gabral in 1975 at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor Michigan. I was 16yrs. old Peter had just brought out his first solo album after leaving Genisis. It was a great? show!

@boibad12 i don't ...
@boibad12 i don't know much about the rhythm/drumming stuff - i know mastelotto is more of a rock drummer...all these progressive guys, like bruford etc, seem to either go back to rock or move to? jazz exclusively...

@jcfbell3001 I just ...
@jcfbell3001 I just don't think he really contributed anything at all, just my opinion. I stated it quite harshly tho? some reason lol

@boibad12 how? so?
@boibad12 how? so?

@gormarx hey thanks ...
@gormarx hey thanks, with my brain damage it is hard to comprehend exactly what? he is doing, but my 'mind' sure can feel it - if I could pretend to be a musician one day I would pretend to be Robert Fripp......he seems to use a highly compressed overdrive - more Frippertronics

@mirzamarco ...
@mirzamarco marotta? would have been so great. pat sucked in double trio

@crazysailorman Nah ...
@crazysailorman Nah, that's just a little fast run in 32s. While Fripp does may odd things with guitar, that one is firmly among the simple, everyday ones; the scale(s) he uses here would be more intriguing, for example, and his guitar sounds (as in, effects used and all that) are without exception very unusual and impressive. His tuning allows him to play in less typical? intervals, too; you might want to explore that as well.

This is incredible! ...
This is incredible! I have enjoyed the Sylvian & Fripp album for years but never realized that video footage was available. I am a great King Crimson fan. However, I think I enjoy the Sylvian/Fripp grouping better than the Adrian Belew version of King? Crimson. Is this footage available on DVD? Thanks for posting this!

This is ? perfect.Thanks for posting .

@The4712mizzou ...
@The4712mizzou suits me, distant and? passionless - just the way i like it

I was also at the ...
I was also at the Nottingham gig, I think it was on a Saturday night. We drove up from? London and also had second row seats at the Albert Hall. Fantastic album

saw this tour in ...
saw this tour in nottingham and it was an awesome show..the? way these two artists blended on this material is quite surreal...think the live recordings edge the studio album for "feel"...also some sylvain stuff reworked on this tour

Take the 2000-2004 ...
Take the 2000-2004 King Crimson line-up, replace Adrian Belew by David Sylvian and there it is! So Pat Mastoletto on drums, Robert Fripp on guitar,? Trey Gunn on stick, David Sylvian on vox and synths. And they added Michael Brook on «infinite guitar»...

Por favor, alguien ...
Por favor, alguien me dice? la formacion completa de este concierto???

esta? cancion QUEMA ...
esta? cancion QUEMA... Demasiada informacion...

I am a non ...
I am a non guitarist but read somewhere that Fripp has been and is a advocate for learning to play? economically, physical wise..it had a fine sounding name...calistechnics (sp?) :)

So, you mean to say ...
So, you mean to say that the vocals that were recorded on the Rain Tree Crow recording... the scratch vocals.... that they were recorded over? It'd be interesting to actually hear those scratch vocals so as to hear what? Karn means.

haha! nonplussed, ...
haha! nonplussed, i like it! yeah its weird, me? being a guitarist, he kinda......slippied through the net..... He is a funny character, i find myself nonplussed ;-)

very wise fish type ...
very wise fish type fellow,im sure he might sweep but would view it more on the side of economy picking rather then see it as one of those "look at me im cool" technique,as for the cross picking however thats so hard to learn properly if u have a year or so of bad habbits like i did! im getting there with it and finding it more favorable than just merely going in the direction that feels most natural,u can crosspick at a fair pace over all? the strings if u get it rite! makes sense to me!

He cross picks like ...
He cross picks like a banjo player. His teacher was Don Strike in Bournemouth, who also taught Greg Lake at the same time, Andy Summer a little later. ? They all use the same cross picking technique. Strike played the banjo so taught from that perspective. Fripp probably sweeps when he wants. He can do anything on the guitar.

Danthehorse, I ...
Danthehorse, I agree you have some KCatching up to do. Listen to any (all) King Crimson. You will be blown away. He also did a few albums with Eno, Bowie, Andy Summers. You can hear his distinctive sound anywhere. He also gives guitar workshops and lectures with his sister!! He is amazing and always looks completely nonplussed when these incredible sounds are coming out of his hands and guitar!?

la genialidad ...
la genialidad volcada a la musica fripp sos un? genio!!

This is just ...
This is just totally f**king COOOOL!!!! ;)?

Mick Karn comments ...
Mick Karn comments in his new book thay Sylvian's vocals on the first Rain Tree Crow recording were honest and real. Sylvian totally re-recorded them taking all the passion out. In concert you can hear the REAL Sylvian whereas the cds are all remixed, treated and can often be? quite lifeless.
